AAMAS 2010 Student Accommodation

AAMAS 2010 Student Accomodation Uptate -- March 23, 2010 The deadline of March 19, 2010 for reserving student residence rooms at Ryerson University at the special AAMAS 2010 group rate for students attending the AAMAS 2010 conference has passed. However, rooms at the International Living Learning Centre (ILLC) Residence may still be available. You can find out more about the ILLC residence and book online by going to http://www.ryerson.ca/conference and selecting "Summer Accommodations". To book online, select "Online Reservation". Do not enter the AAMAS group codes given earlier, which have expired. Note that when booking online, May 9 is the earliest arrival date, as this is the official ILLC Summer opening date. However, you may request an earlier arrival date when booking by phone or fax. Note also that you will be asked to present student ID upon check-in.

AAMAS 2010 has reserved a block of low-cost student residence rooms at Ryerson University for students attending the conference (all prices are in Canadian Dollars). The residences are located downtown, close to public transit. It is possible to walk from these residences to the conference venue, the Sheraton Centre Hotel, in approximately 20 minutes.

Rooms can be booked in two different residences:

Pitman Hall Residence has 555 single dorm-style rooms with shared washroom facilities providing maid service, in-room telephones with free local calling and high speed internet access, 24-hour front desk, and individual climate control rooms. Community kitchenettes, laundry facilities, and lounges with cable TV are located on every floor. Pitman Hall Residence rooms are Single with shared bathroom, at $44.00 plus 10% tax per night, which includes Continental Breakfast (Online Group Code:129682).
International Living Learning Centre (ILLC) Residence features 263 single and double occupancy guestrooms with hotel-style amenities and services, in-room telephones with free local calling and high speed internet access. ILLC offers full service restaurant, bar lounge, meeting rooms and banquet facilities. ILLC rooms are Single or Double with private bathroom, at $77.00 plus 10% tax per night (Online Group Code: 550188).

You can find out more about the residences and book online by going to http://www.ryerson.ca/conference/ and selecting "Summer Accommodations". To book online, select "Online Reservation", and then enter the group code (Pitman 129682, ILLC 550188) and submit. Once submitted, group details will appear, then enter your requested dates of stay, etc.

You can also book a room by filling out this room reservation form and faxing or mailing it in. Finally, you can also book a room by phone by calling the number on the room reservation form.
Note that the deadline for booking a room is March 19, 2010.
Note also that you will be asked to present student ID upon check-in.
