Registration Information
As we expect high participation numbers (and tickets might sell out early),we recommend to register as early as possible, if you want to participate. AAMAS registration opens on April 16. Early registration rates apply until May 31. The late registration starts on June 1 and ends on June 25. On-site registration is possible with partially increased fees. You should however be aware that some benefits like travel cards or dinner tickets might be not be available any more.
As the conference is organized and accounts are handled in Sweden, Swedish tax legislation applies. According to these rules, persons who register for the conference privately have to pay 25% tax on top of the registration fees. ALL persons sent by an organization (such as a university, research institute, agency) or a company do not have to pay this tax, no matter whether they pay on their own or their affiliation pays directly. During the registration process, you have to provide the VAT or organization number of your organization (such a number exists for every organization and company. Note that this is just for identification purposes and not for payment). You will receive a link for payment after this number has been verified. This may take some time after receiving your registration as it is – due to the high variety of numbers – a semi-manual process. If you have to cancel your participation, the following reimbursement policy applies:
- 0% cancellation fee is applicable to cancellations received before May 31.
- 50% cancellation fee is applicable to cancellations received before June 21.
- After this date, the registration fee, including dinner tickets, is non-refundable.
- An amendment fee of SEK 500 is applicable for all changes, in regards to VAT number and Tax Registration Number, made after the registration.
